WOLVERHAMPTON, England, September 1 --
Following benchmark testing on typical large 4x4 vehicles, SUVs and vans, the Endura Frontal Protection System (FPS) has now been tested on the Toyota RAV 4. The results confirm the benefits for pedestrian safety in Europe, and the rest of the world. The latest breakthrough results are shown below.
The testing carried out at MIRA, a world leading vehicle testing facility, has proven the risk of pedestrian head injury is dramatically reduced from >98 per cent to 2 per cent when the Toyota RAV 4 is fitted with the Endura FPS. The risk of injury to the abdomen, upper leg and lower leg is also reduced with a substantial 79 per cent improvement to the pelvis and abdominal area.

The Toyota RAV 4 is the first of many diverse vehicles which will be tested. In the next few months, further FPS products will be tested and available for small, medium and large vehicles. Popular brands such as the Nissan X Trial and the Renault Traffic, will have aftermarket products approved for sale under the Endura banner.
Vehicle designers and engineers are striving to improve pedestrian safety of their vehicles in line with EuroNCAP (current and pending legislation within Europe). Concept Mouldings is working with leading European vehicle manufacturers in the application of Endura FPS technology as a cost effective solution, offering immediate improvements in pedestrian safety.
Concept Mouldings will be exhibiting at the leading trade fair, Automechanika in Frankfurt, held from 12th - 17th September 2006. Concept Mouldings is already succeeding in its plan to secure contracts with distributors within the UK. At Automechanika, the company plans to discuss distribution and dealership opportunities for the Endura FPS across Europe and rest of the world with sector leading partners.
On Wednesday 13th September, Concept Mouldings will be conducting a press conference to introduce its range of products, processes and services to the export market place. It will also be launching its exciting Endura new range of aftermarket Frontal Protection Systems. This event will be held from 14.00 to 15.00, in the STRUKTUR room, hall 5.0.
