XM Satellite Radio's Nightshift Hits Sin City in First Vegas Event

IRVINE, Calif.--Aug. 31, 2006--

Nation's largest lifestyle custom car show brings Nightshift to Vegas, featuring some of nation's billboard-topping artists, drifting demos and the best cash prizes this season

Action Media, creators of XM Satellite Radio's Hot Import Nights (HIN), will make its Las Vegas debut with its Nightshift event on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 4-11 p.m. at Sam Boyd Stadium. HIN, the nation's largest lifestyle custom car show, will host its Nightshift event featuring live performances from T-Pain and Paula Deanda, as well as drifting demos and stunt bike exhibitions.

Southern rapper T-Pain will be performing songs from his Gold debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga, with songs including, "I'm Sprung," and "I'm N Luv (Wit A Stripper)." Paula Deanda will keep the music flowing with her performance of "Doing Too Much," the first single from her self-titled debut album and a major Top 40 hit that has been climbing the Billboard charts since Spring 2006.

On the automotive front, Dunlop will host a special drifting demo area with some of the biggest names from the drifting world, and Kane One will lead the stunt bike exhibitions throughout the day and night. Returning sponsor Valvoline will present Super Street Cars on Tour with the one-of-a-kind Charge Speed STI straight from Japan, the full carbon fiber chassis CWest S2000 and the chameleon color-changing HKS-powered IS300. Show visitors can get up-close and personal with the hottest, trendiest cars in the customized world, straight from the pages of the top tuner magazines. In addition, motocross champion Travis Pastrana will feature his Subaru rally car.

On the Mazda stage, HIN's Glo-Go dancers will show off their go-go skills against Las Vegas' best dancers in the new Rockstar Energy Drink National Glo-Go Dancer Competition, a city-to-city dance rivalry where the prize purse is its largest of the season at $2,000 for the winning team. And, the competitions continue with the search for the next Miss HIN 2007 in the Queen of the Scene competition and the selection of Miss HIN Las Vegas, hosted by HIN International Spokesmodel Ursula Mayes. Ursula, Miss HIN 2005, can be seen elsewhere this year as one of Maxim's "Sexiest 100" and on the new NBC program, "Deal or No Deal." On the XM Satellite Radio Stage, local club DJs and b-boy groups will compete for top accolades, and the Fuel Girls will bring their fiery burlesque show to the United States for the first time at the Vegas event.

HINCity.com members and HIN show-goers can get a show sneak peak the night before by hitting five Vegas hotspots outlined on HINCity.com. Join fellow HIN fans and cruise the Vegas strip, watch b-boy break dancing on Fremont Street, party with HIN models at the Hard Rock Cafe's Center Bar or join the pre-party at the Rio.

A special moment in the Nightshift evening will allow show attendees to recognize guests from the U.S. Military--Soldiers who recently returned from Iraq and Afghanistan. HIN and its sponsors will welcome Soldiers participating in Operation Tribute to Freedom, a U.S. Military outreach program designed to honor those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The program is an opportunity for Americans to better understand and connect with their Soldiers, one story at a time. Soldiers will be recognized and honored on stage for their service.

XM Satellite Radio's Hot Import Nights is presented by returning sponsor Valvoline, in addition to returning sponsors Dunlop Tires; Meguiar's; Mazda; Circuit City; Chevrolet; Subaru; NGK Sparkplugs; Hanes; BF Goodrich; BombshellPoker.com; and media sponsors Modified Magazine; Modified Luxury & Exotics, Super Street; Import Tuner; Sport Compact Car; Rides; MPH; Performance Auto & Sound Magazine; Road and Track; C-16; XXL; KING; and Car and Driver magazine.
