DealerTrack Announces Inaugural Innovation Conference

Two-Day Networking and Educational Event, November 7-8, Will Showcase the Latest Automotive Technology Trends and Best Practices to Increase Profits

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Aug. 31 -- DealerTrack, Inc., a subsidiary of DealerTrack Holdings, Inc. today announced plans to host its first annual Innovation Conference, a unique two-day networking and educational conference to be held November 7-8, 2006, at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Co-sponsors of the conference include The Cobalt Group, Microsoft, Manheim, AutoTrader.com, BarNone, MarketView360 and Zag.

With a unique format that combines networking opportunities with educational sessions presented by leading industry experts, the DealerTrack 2006 Innovation Conference participants will learn how to better use technology to increase revenues and profitability. Dealership general managers attending from around the country will have the opportunity to hear real-world case studies and share best practices.

"The automotive retail industry is in need of a forum to facilitate the exchange of ideas and showcase cutting-edge innovations in a 'non sales' environment," said Mark O'Neil, chairman and chief executive officer of DealerTrack. "The Innovation Conference meets this need with featured technology experts and interactive sessions."

The "Innovative Keynote Presentation" will be delivered by Tom Peters, the best-selling author and business visionary, who will discuss automotive industry and economic trends. Mr. Peters, who has written 12 books on innovative business practices, including the groundbreaking In Search of Excellence, is recognized around the world as one of the most influential and revolutionary management gurus of the last century.

The conference will include interactive breakout sessions geared toward dealers, financing sources and other industry innovators. Sessions will address various topics customized for specific audiences, such as innovative ways to increase aftermarket sales and profits, digital contracting trends, and cutting-edge marketing strategies, including Internet search advertising.

Attendees will have the option of participating in a golf tournament or a poker tournament, in which a World Series Poker Pro will offer tips and individual advice on how to win big in Vegas. Networking opportunities will abound, since conference attendees and speakers will participate in all events. The conference will also include an evening concert with Jim Belushi at the House of Blues.

O'Neil concluded, "The DealerTrack Innovation Conference represents a face-to-face version of the online DealerTrack network -- bringing our dealers and industry partners together in a single location for two rewarding days."

For a limited time, attendees who register for the DealerTrack Innovation Conference can also attend the F&I Conference (November 8-10 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas) at no additional charge.
