John Coughlin solidly in the show, Jeg is focused on  day two
 
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After one day of qualifying at the 52nd annual NHRA  MAC 
Tools U.S. Nationals, Team JEGS driver John Coughlin is currently ranked  
eighth in the Super Stock class. Coughlin drove his Chevy Cavalier to a run of  
8.84 seconds to claim a solid position in the 166-car field.  

Coughlin's brother, Jeg, made two runs behind the wheel of Michael  Ogburn's 
West Coast Hemis Barracuda, but is not yet qualified. He will have two  
additional attempts tomorrow to prepare for the highly anticipated Mopar  
Performance Super Stock Hemi Challenge, which is scheduled for Friday at 8 a.m. 
 
Jeg Coughlin will also be racing in Competition Eliminator this weekend  with 
a Chevy Cobalt owned by Richard Freeman. John Coughlin's Team JEGS Super  
Comp dragster is also in action with defending Mac Tools U.S. Nationals champion  
Brad Plourd behind the wheel.
