Team strategists prepare for high-speed chess match

Cindric, Hull to discuss title fight on IndyCar Series teleconference

 

Two of the top race strategists in the IndyCar Series, Tim Cindric of
Marlboro Team Penske and Mike Hull of Target Chip Ganassi Racing, will
discuss their approach to the IndyCar Series championship as well as the
upcoming race weekend at Chicagoland Speedway during the Indy Racing
League teleconference on Wednesday, Aug. 30. The four drivers from
Marlboro Team Penske and Target Chip Ganassi Racing are separated by 21
points in the championship hunt entering the final event of the 2006
IndyCar Series season:

*        Tim Cindric serves as president for Penske Performance, Inc.
and oversees overall management responsibility for the various Penske
Performance, Inc. entities, including Marlboro Team Penske in the
IndyCar Series and teams competing in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series,
NASCAR Busch Series and American LeMans Series. 

*        Mike Hull, team managing director for Target Chip Ganassi
Racing, has helped the team win five Indy-style championships over the
last 10 years. Hull's duties include overseeing the engineering and
mechanical staff for Ganassi's IndyCar Series and Grand American Road
Racing Series teams headquartered in Indianapolis as well as at the
races. He will be joining the call from Salt Lake City, where he
preparing for the Grand Am season-finale.
