High Point Partners with United Way SchoolTime Wishes Drives

RED BANK, N.J., Aug. 29, 2006 -- High Point, one of the leading New Jersey auto insurers, recently partnered with the United Way of Monmouth County for their annual "SchoolTime Wishes" drive. SchoolTime Wishes provides students in need with new school supplies that they would not be able to purchase on their own.

New school supplies including backpacks, notebooks, binders, pencils, and glue were collected for elementary, middle and high school students in need. "High Point Auto Insurance is a valuable community partner to United Way of Monmouth County," said Jim Rude, director, Resource Development for United Way of Monmouth County. "Leading by example, the employees of High Point Auto Insurance make a significant difference in our community through their participation in the United Way annual fundraising campaign and the various Wishes drives. SchoolTime Wishes was another complete success, with over 800 items being collected from the High Point Auto Insurance team. We look forward to continuing the wonderful relationship between United Way of Monmouth County and High Point Auto Insurance."

High Point employees also show their support by participating in the annual "Snowflake Wishes" drive, which is a collection of gifts for less fortunate children, adults and seniors in the local community. Additionally, employees volunteer to give to the United Way through an annual campaign by choosing contributions through payroll deduction or by providing a one-time donation.
