Arctic Cat Appoints David A. Roberts to Its Board of Directors
THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn.--Aug. 28, 2006--Arctic Cat Inc. today announced the appointment of David A. Roberts, 58, to its board of directors, effective immediately.Roberts currently serves as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Graco Inc., a world leader in fluid management systems and components. Before joining Graco in June 2001, Roberts was group vice president for the Marmon Group in Chicago. Since beginning his career in 1969, he has held various manufacturing, engineering, and general management positions with The Budd Company, Pitney Bowes and FMC Corporation. Roberts also serves on the boards of Graco Inc., Franklin Electric Co., Inc. and the Dean's Advisory Board of the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He earned a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University in 1974 and an M.B.A. from Indiana University in 1978.

Roberts' appointment increases the total number of Arctic Cat board members to nine, of which the majority are independent directors. Roberts will stand for re-election to the board of directors at the company's fiscal 2007 annual shareholder meeting.
