(Aug. 26, 2006) - Marco Andretti recorded a best lap of 107.417 miles per hour (1:17.0830 seconds) in the #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone during the six-car qualifying shootout at the 12-turn, 2.26-mile Infineon Raceway road course and will start from the second position for Sunday afternoon's running of the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma. The 13th event of the 2006 IndyCar Series season is set to go green at 3:45 p.m. (EDT) Sunday with ESPN providing live broadcast coverage of the 80-lap event beginning at 3:30 p.m. (EDT). The race may also be heard on XM Satellite Radio, channel 145.
