                                                The Hurricane ready to blow
into Skagit!

 

August 23, 2006 (Alger, WA) The last time the Hurricane Randy Hannagan
visited Skagit Speedway was also the same time the World of Outlaws visited
the track in 2002.  Hannagan who has won 2 Dirt Cups at the track is really
looking forward to his returning to the track.  While in the Dakota's,
Hannagan had a 5th place finish and a 12th at Minot after his right rear
went flat with one lap to go while running in the top 10.  Hannagan has seen
steady improvement in the Penthouse Magazine team and with 20 races
remaining is ready to roll into victory lane.  

 

"I like this place (Skagit)." Said Hannagan. "I have not been here since the
Outlaws were and they have redone the track since then.  We won 2 dirt cups
here and it would be really cool to put the Penthouse Maxim in victory lane
this weekend.  We had good success in the Dakota's and had we not blown a
tire we would have had another top 5 finish, but it is just one of those
deals.  We stopped at the lake yesterday rented a boat for few hours to take
our minds off racing for a bit.  I definatley think we can win a race before
the end of the year."
