SAMAX - Infineon preview

The Aug. 26 Rolex Sports Car Series race will be the first at Infineon
(Sears Point) Raceway for the SAMAX/ Doncaster Racing drivers, but they will
be ready – both on and off track. Dave Lacey and Greg Wilkins of Toronto
will drive the No. 17 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car in Saturday's two-hour
45-minute race on the 2.52-mile road course in Sonoma, Calif.

Lacey hopes his electronic testing will be mirrored by on-track results.

"I have not been to Sears Point, but am actively working on my Sony
Playstation skills, where the track is one of the many they have in that
game," he said. "You can actually get a 996 [Porsche] working pretty well
there and I hope to translate my virtual skills."

With the season finale set for Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, one
week after the Sonoma race, Lacey and Wilkins will enjoy a few days in
Sonoma wine country between races.

"We will be heading out to a few wineries after the race, but prior to
Utah," Lacey confirmed. "Too bad about the new liquids rule on airlines; I
would have loved to take back a bunch of California's finest."
