Binah Systems Appoints Milt Baker President

Former Motorola Executive to Lead Ann Arbor-based Auto Electronic Safety Firm

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Aug. 22 -- Binah Systems, a leading-edge supplier of electronic safety products to the automotive industry, today announced the appointment of Milt Baker as president. Baker will be responsible for bringing two new safety products to the public which are: kidSafe(TM) and ClearFast(R), both of which have received national attention as industry-first products that reduce injury to children and significantly improve automotive safety.

Next Generation in Automotive Safety

kidSafe(TM) is an industry-first new product developed to eliminate injuries to children from automotive power closure systems (windows, sliding doors, sun roofs, lift gates and deck lids). Present power closures are designed to only reduce the trapping forces on the child. The kidSafe(TM) product provides a new and higher standard of care by eliminating power closure contact force. Power windows are the first applications.

ClearFast(R) heats windshield washer fluid to uniquely provide clear vision safety for both summer and winter cleaning. In winter ClearFast(R) quickly removes snow and ice from a cold windshield. In summer heated washer fluid greatly improves the cleaning of bugs and grime to improve vision.

Prior to joining Binah Systems, Baker was a corporate vice president at Motorola, Inc., heading up global sales for its Automotive Group and Automotive Enterprise sales. Prior to Motorola, he held engineering and management positions at General Motors Corporation, and has spent his entire career in automotive electronics.

Baker holds a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering Degree from Lehigh University, and a Master of Science, Management Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.

Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Binah Systems is a company that invests in and commercializes new automotive safety technology.
