NHRA UPDATE: Rain POSTPONES O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals

At 9 p.m. CT, Sunday's O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals Final Eliminations
at Memphis Motorsports Park were officially postponed. They are
scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 21.
 
Due the postponement, the satellite uplink has been cancelled.
 
For highlights of today's first round of eliminations, tune in to
ESPN2's coverage, which begins at 9 p.m. CT. 
 
Of note when racing resumes, Top Fuel points leader Doug Kalitta and
second-place Tony Schumacher will meet in the quarterfinals. Kalitta
currently leads Schumacher by 76 points.
 
In Funny Car, points leader Ron Capps and second-place John Force each
advanced past the first round. Capps will meet Tony Pedregon in the
quarterfinals and Force will meet Whit Bazemore. Force and Capps cannot
meet until the final round.
