AUTON Motorized Systems Honored with Product of the Year Award; Legendary Manufacturer Recognized for the Second Year in a Row

VALENCIA, Calif.--Aug. 17, 2006--AUTON Motorized Systems, the world's leading manufacturer of motorized TV lifts, has once again been honored by EH Publishing for excellence in design and innovation for its all-new Shadow Trak System. The prestigious Product of the Year award is presented by Electronic House magazine, one of the nation's leading, high-tech home electronics publications.

2006 marks the second time in as many years that AUTON has received the Electronic House Product of the Year prize. In 2005, AUTON received the award for its Ceiling Flip-Down System. The EH Product of the Year award is one of the most sought-after honors in the home theatre design and installation industry. Using stringent criteria that demands technological innovation, overall value, ease of use, and quality feature set, a panel of nationally recognized industry experts are charged with making the selections.

A simple yet ingenious system, AUTON'S Shadow Trak allows users to hide their plasma or LCD screens behind a movable painting or art panel that is activated using a hand-held remote control. Unlike other concealment systems, the new Shadow Trak doesn't require any invasive construction or rebuilding and attaches directly to an existing wall using common hand and power tools.
