JCB DIESELMAX Gets Ready To Set A New Land-Speed Record - VIDEO ENHANCED STORY
EDITOR'S NOTE: I was fortunate to be in Black Rock, NV on September 25,
1997, and video tape Andy Green's successful runs in Richard Noble's ThrustSSC
car as he drove into history. The Auto Channel was the only Internet
entity on-location and the only website to present video of the two runs* (meanwhile, PEEDVISION was
on the other side of Black Rock twiddling their twaddles waiting for the late and great Craig Breedlove to get the Spirit of America
rolling - Peedvision never could get our concept right). The ThrustSSC runs were a great spectacle; being there was like stepping into a movie.
