MILWAUKEE MILE ENJOYING INCREASE IN SPECTATORS THUS FAR IN 2006; TICKET
SALES UP 13% THROUGH FOUR EVENTS

Upcoming Governor's Cup Weekend To Feature 500 Miles of Stock Car Racing
August 25 - 27

MILWAUKEE (August 16, 2006) - The new promoters of The Milwaukee Mile, led
by Chairman Craig Stoehr and President & CEO Andy Randall, have seen an
increase in race fans attending auto races at America's Legendary Oval
through three of four large spectator event weekends in 2006.

Attendance for each and every event has increased over 2005, according to
Randall. The Milwaukee Mile is currently the only speedway that hosts all
three major American sanctioning bodies in the same season - Champ Car World
Series, NASCAR and the Indy Racing League.

"As we entered into an 18 year agreement with the Wisconsin State Fair Board
late last year, we came into this season with a schedule in place and we
went to work on growing awareness and ticket sales for each of our race
weekends," Randall said. "We are encouraged by the response of our valued
fans and with the initial success we've had in attracting new fans to
experience an event weekend with us thus far."

In early June, the Champ Car World Series competed in the Time Warner Cable
Road Runner 225. The Friday night June 23rd Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series was well attended, and the popular AT&T 250
NASCAR Busch Series event, won by Wisconsin's own Paul Menard, drew over
41,000 fans.

Just weeks prior to the August 10 announcement of a return to tradition with
the stars of the Indianapolis 500 racing the Sunday after the '500 at The
Mile beginning June 3, 2007, Tony Kanaan picked up his first IndyCar Series
victory this season in the ABC Supply / A.J. Foyt 225.

The upcoming August 25-27 Governor's Cup weekend brings the tradition of
stock car racing in August back to the historic oval, the oldest operating
motor speedway in the world, dating back to 1903. There will be 500 miles
of stock car racing among four divisions of national and Wisconsin grass
roots stock car racing divisions.

Teams from the ARCA RE/MAX Series will headline the weekend, racing in the
Sunday afternoon, August 27 Governor's Cup 200. The debut of the ASA Late
Model Challenge Series in the Governor's Cup 150, the Mid-American Stock
Cars return on Saturday, and the first-ever visit of the Wisconsin Challenge
Series complete a busy weekend of on-track activity.

With the popularity growing with the ARCA RE/MAX Series, response has been
positive, according to Randall, with advance sale tickets on a steady pace
to exceed last season's August Governor's Cup attendance.

For the 2006 season, there has been no increase in ticket prices, with
family-affordable $9 race day tickets available each weekend. For the
upcoming Governor's Cup events, reserved seat race day tickets range in
price from as low as $7 to $25.
