TULSA, Okla., Aug. 16, 2006 -- Thrifty Car Rental, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. will offer customers triple frequent flyer miles with seven airlines at select Thrifty locations worldwide. The offer is valid on rentals booked in advance on THRIFTY.com from August 15, 2006 through November 15, 2006.
A minimum two-day rental of a midsize car or larger vehicle from Thrifty is required. Participating airlines include Alaska Airlines(R) Mileage Plan(R), American Airlines AAdvantage(R), Continental(R) OnePass(R), Delta Air Lines(R) SkyMiles(R), Northwest Airlines(R) WorldPerks(R), United Airlines(R) Mileage Plus(R) and US Airways(R) Dividend Miles(R) programs.
To book a qualifying rental, visit the "Partner Specials" page of THRIFTY.com and the appropriate promotion code will be pre-populated when booking your reservation. The reservation must be made on THRIFTY.com in order to qualify for the promotion.
Triple miles will only be awarded for a maximum of seven days per rental. Cars must be picked up between August 15, 2006 and November 15, 2006. Other restrictions may apply.
