Join Forces For NASCAR Busch Series Debut!
WESTBY, WI (8-15-06)- - Westby, Wisconsin native Dexter Bean is proud to
announce that he will be running his first NASCAR Busch Series event at Michigan
International Speedway this weekend!
BlackJack Racing, Jay Robinson Racing, and Five Star Telecom have come
together to send this 19-year-old to the NASCAR Busch Series for his debut. Bean
will be racing the No. 49 car owned by Jay Robinson Racing with primary
sponsorship from Five Star Telecom, which is based in LaCrosse, WI.

Bean’s side since he began his racing career at the young age of 10 years old.
Bean first started racing go-karts in LaCrosse and at Nordic Raceway in his
hometown of Westby, WI. As he advanced and broadened his racing experience,
Five Star Telecom was right there with him. Five Star has been instrumental
in fulfilling this young man’s dreams of becoming a racecar driver and words
cannot express our gratitude!
The No. 49 Ford Fusion has been driven by the likes of Jamie Mosley, Jorge

 tracks including Michigan International Speedway.
This whole event would not have been possible without the help and guidance
of Jeff Spraker of Spraker Racing Enterprises. Spraker has been Bean’s mentor
since late last season and has been an amazing help in helping Bean achieve
his racing goals. Spraker Racing Enterprises is located in Mooresville, NC

Bean has many emotions regarding the upcoming weekend and excitement is on
the top of his list. He has been dreaming of this day since he started racing
and he now has the opportunity to race with the best of the best!
“I never imagined back when I started racing the Dodge Weekly Series I would
be here! My biggest goal is to get through practice without any problems
and qualify in a position that puts me in the show, which happens to be the
same goals I set for myself for my first ARCA RE/MAX Series race. This will be
one of the most competitive races I have ever been in and if I make the race
it will be one of the biggest accomplishments of my career! I am also really
excited to race behind the wheel of a Ford Fusion. It should be really
interesting comparing my ARCA car to the Busch Series car which is also
something I never thought I would have the opportunity to do!?? states the
enthusiastic 19 year old.
Bean and the No. 49 Five Star Telecom-Ford Fusion will fire its engine on
Saturday, August 19th at 2:55 PM EST. The NASCAR Busch Carfax 250 consists of
125 laps or 250 miles. Bean is also racing the full ARCA RE/MAX Series
schedule, which includes the ARCA 200 on Friday, August 18th. Immediately
following the NASCAR Busch Series race on Saturday, this determined young driver
will head to Springfield, IL to participate in his first ARCA RE/MAX Series dirt
track competition on Sunday, August 20th.
