Enova Awarded Contract to Integrate Service Vans with Hybrid Power Drive Systems for Major Fleet Operator

TORRANCE, Calif.--Aug. 14, 2006--Enova Systems (OTCBB:ENOV) (AIM:ENV) (AIM:ENVS), a leading developer and manufacturer of electric, hybrid and fuel cell digital power management systems, is pleased to announce it has received a major contract to integrate service vans for a Major North American fleet operator. Enova will fully design and integrate their Post-Transmission 80 kW Hybrid Drive System with Nickel Metal Hydride batteries for their customer. Enova's Post Transmission system provides today's customer base an excellent hybrid solution not only for new vehicles but also the ability to retrofit existing vehicles with a technology that is non-invasive to the vehicle's communication systems and physical structure.
