Honda to build motorcycle plant in India:

TOKYO August 14, 2006; Japan Today reported that Honda Motor Co plans to build a motorcycle factory in northern India by 2010 through a local joint venture, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported Sunday.

A total of 19 billion rupees (some 48 billion yen) will be invested to build the plant with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million units, according to the dispatch from New Delhi.
