Novato's Drumm Takes Win in Summer Cycling Series

SONOMA, Calif. (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) - Cyclists from as far as Rocklin and
as young as 10-years-old convened at Infineon Raceway on Thursday night
for the first round of the Infineon Raceway Summer Cycling Series.

Novato's Kristin Drumm, who rides for Proman and was the champion of
Infineon Raceway's Spring Cycling Series, took first place in the
Women's Division. Drumm dominated the eight-lap race over the 2.52-mile
road course, with Sonoma's Anne Marie Sebastiani second and Santa Rosa's
Alicia Mechling (McGuire Cycling) third.

Idaho's Ian Tuttle (Fitzgerald's Cycling) topped Santa Rosa's Doug
McKenzie (Fightin' Bobas) and Napa's Nigel Ravenhill (Eagle Cycling
Club) to take first place in the Men's Division. Tuttle pulled away on
the final lap, with McKenzie and Ravenhill second and third,
respectively.

"This is one of the coolest venues I've ever raced on," said Tuttle, who
is on vacation in the Bay Area. "It was fun going head-to-head with Doug
(McKenzie). We've battled before."

Davis' Edan Levation (Davis Bike Club) won the Junior Division. The
event attracted 30 cyclists.

The second round of the Summer Cycling Series returns to Infineon
Raceway on Thursday, Aug. 17. More than $1,700 in cash and prizes will
be awarded throughout the Summer Series. Gates open at 5 p.m., with
registration at 5:15, and the race starting at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per
competitor, Juniors (18 and under) ride FREE.
