Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. Announces Conference Call to Discuss First Quarter Fiscal Year 2007 Results

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 10, 2006 -- Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. ("MPA") , a leading provider of remanufactured alternators and starters for the automotive aftermarket, announced today that it will host a conference call at 1:00 p.m. PT (4:00 p.m. ET) on Monday, August 14, 2006, to discuss results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006.

Joining Selwyn Joffe, Chairman, President and CEO of MPA, will be Mervyn McCulloch, Chief Financial Officer. The Company plans to distribute its earnings announcement that same day.
