Beregszaszy Eager For Nashville Debut
Beregszaszy Eager For Nashville Debut
LEBANON, Tennessee (August 9, 2006) - - After a one week break in the midst
of 13 races in 11 weeks, ARCA Rookie Paul Beregszaszy and his Bereg Racing
team have been working around the clock preparing to make their debut this
Saturday in the ARCA 200 from Nashville Superspeedway.
With an competitive field expected for the 14th event on the 2006 ARCA
calendar, Beregszaszy along with his team have taken every effort to guarantee a
berth in the starting field including purchasing new equipment and forming an
alliance with Joe Gibbs Racing, a proven championship organization in the
NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.
When the team unloads on Thursday, the No. 77 World Water Solutions
Chevrolet will boast a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS purchased from the JGR (Joe
Gibbs Racing) stable with an influential setup which should aid the former USAC
competitor this weekend.
“The Bereg Racing team is looking forward to this weekend at Nashville,??
said Beregszaszy who also carries experience in the Porsche Super Cup Series in
Germany and Austria. “We’ve made every effort to unload as a professional
race team and I know we’ll impress a lot of people in Nashville. We’re
starting our season late so we have to make every effort to perform well,
hopefully we can do that.??
Besides no prior experience at Nashville Superspeedway, Beregszaszy does
have seat time in an ARCA RE/MAX Series car at Kentucky Speedway. Beregszaszy
attempted both events at the 1.5-mile speed plant, but mechanical failures in
both venues forced Beregszaszy from making the starting lineup. This time, the
driver is confident all the bugs are gone and the team is ready for
competition.
“There’s a lot that goes into any program. We had some early hiccups. We
really should have competed in two ARCA events this season, but it wasn’t meant
to be. I’m heading into the track this week with an open-mind and eager for
a solid performance at Nashville.??
He continued, “Nashville is a very unique track. It’s concrete and will
the first time I’ve attempted to compete on a concrete track in a stock car. My
momentum is high based upon our hard working and endless efforts in the shop
thanks to the help of some higher sources. I’ve seen previous races at the
track so I think I have a pretty good idea on how to maneuver around the track.
??
Beregszaszy will have to qualify his machine on time Friday afternoon to
earn his first ARCA start. While the pressure is on, Beregszaszy doesn’t feel
the heat, yet. “At our last event at Kentucky we practiced well enough that we
would have made the field on time. We’ve improved our equipment in order to
bypass any worries. When push comes to shove, it’s up to the driver and I’m
confident that a top-15 start is realistic for our team.??
Backing Beregszaszy’s efforts this weekend is World Water Solutions. WWS
(World Water Solutions) will adorn full sponsorship of the No. 77 Chevrolet
Monte Carlo SS for the second event at Nashville Superspeedway this season. World
Water Solutions is a brand new company set to launch later this year.
World Water Solutions Inc. is a part of the international Frastacky group of
companies.
The purpose of WWSI is to provide water, wastewater and desalination
services to the marketplace.
“World Water Solutions is taking an extreme approach to their marketing
strategies by launching an immediate campaign effort in the ARCA RE/MAX Series
and we’re excited about it. Bereg Racing plans to focus our efforts and give
our sponsor the exposure they are looking for. Once World Water Solutions
launches exclusively it’s going to be big.
Following Saturday’s race at Nashville Superspeedway, Bereg Racing will
regroup and prepare for further starts at Chicagoland Speedway and Talladega
Superspeedway. The team is also in serious negations with several teams in the
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series to field an effort for Beregszaszy later this
season.
“We are our broadening our horizons to better fulfill our sponsor’s needs
following the conclusion of the ARCA RE/MAX Series season,?? added Beregszaszy.
“We are planning an intense racing schedule in 2007 and plan to use both
series to aid our program.??
The team has also launched a brand new racing website in preparations for
this weekend’s
activities. _BeregRacing.com_ (http://www.beregracing.com/) offers the
latest information on the team. From results, to biographies, sponsors and fan
interaction, _BeregRacing.com_ (http://www.beregracing.com/) fulfills any media
representatives or fans curiosity about the new race team.
“We are very proud of our website especially with the launching occurring
the week of Nashville,?? he added. “Our website is very professional and makes
us look like the real deal. That’s the integrity we want.??
Rolling into Nashville, Beregszaszy a native of Arizona has no prior ARCA
RE/MAX Series starts to his resume but holds considerable seat time at
Kentucky Speedway just a few hours from Nashville Superspeedway.
The ARCA 200 (150 laps/200 miles) is the 14th of 23 events on the 2006 ARCA
RE/MAX Series schedule. Practice begins August 11th with a two and half hour
(11:00am-1:30pm CST) session planned. Pork pole qualifying is on tap Friday
afternoon (5:30pm CST) with the race set to take the following afternoon. SPEED
will have live coverage of the event Saturday, August 12th beginning at
2:00pm CST. In addition to SPEED, _arcaracing.com_ (http://www.arcaracing.com/)
