Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions Gives Preview of Its Automechanika Product Launch

Global Frontrunner in Automotive Diagnostics to Reveal Full Details of New VCI at Automechanika Industry Show, Frankfurt, September 2006: hall 3.1, Walkway B, Stand 61

TERADYNE DIAGNOSTIC SOLUTIONS has announced that it will be using this September's Automechanika industry show as a platform for the worldwide premiere of its latest product, a VCI (Vehicle Communications Interface) with the working title T-200.

Teradyne is a global market leader in vehicle diagnostic and information systems, testing one vehicle every second all over the world, both on the production line and in dealership service areas. Its stand at Automechanika will showcase a range of the company's products and services, but its main objective is to unveil the T-200 (whose final brand name is yet to be confirmed).

In advance of the show, details are being closely guarded, but Teradyne has revealed some early details to indicate its confidence that the product will be unparalleled in terms of built-in features, ease of use and performance.

The new VCI will be compatible with Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions' established GRADE-X test-authoring software, and will offer vehicle technicians the ability to communicate with vehicle ECUs for diagnostics, data capture, de-bugging or even complete reprogramming; more quickly and more easily than ever before.

Further details and product images will be available from the 12th September - the first day of Automechanika - and full press packs will be distributed at the show, as well as regular product demonstrations at the Teradyne stand (hall 3.1, walkway B, stand 61).
