Wallonia, Belgium Sponsors Traverse City Events

Attendees at the Management Briefing Seminars can get a taste of Belgian chocolate along with information about advantages of the Wallonia region of Belgium for automotive companies.

Jean-Pierre Vasaune, Director of Business Development for North America in the Office for Foreign Investors of Belgium's Wallonia region, invites attendees to Tower Suite 1556 at the Grand Traverse Resort during the Seminars from August 7 to 11. Wallonia also will sponsor a luncheon and special cooking class on Thursday, August 10 at the Great Lakes Culinary Institute in Traverse City. Further information will be available in Tower Suite 1556 or by calling (248) 705-4448.

"Wallonia's central location in Europe, its commercial heritage, and its multi-lingual and multi-cultural workforce make it an excellent location for successful global companies," Vasaune says. "It is in the heart of Europe's wealthiest and most populated area and an automotive region where General Motors, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Renault, Nedcar, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo produce more than two million vehicles a year," he said. Backing up these vehicle producers are some 260 supplier plants.
