TORRANCE, Calif.--Aug. 7, 2006--Enova Systems, , a leading developer and manufacturer of electric, hybrid and fuel cell digital power management systems, announced today it has received a major contract from Phoenix Motorcars, to integrate ten (10) Sport Utility Trucks (SUT) with their 90kW Electric Drive System.

Mike Staran, Enova's Vice President of Marketing, commented on the achievement: "Partnering with Phoenix Motorcars helps further establish our penetration into important sectors of the Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Market. We believe these Sport Utility Trucks will have a significant impact on the market and are pleased to be part of Phoenix Motorcar's supply team".

Phoenix Motorcars (www.phoenixmotorcars.com) intends to manufacture additional production volumes throughout the 2007 calendar year. An SUT vehicle is expected to be on display at the CARB ZEV symposium in September of this year.
