ExactTarget to Hold Email Marketing Conference in Southern California

INDIANAPOLIS--Aug. 3, 2006--

  Marketers learn best practices for email marketing at event planned for August 17th  



On-demand email software provider ExactTarget is sponsoring a Regional User Conference to educate B-to-B and consumer marketers on how to use permission-based email to convert leads, drive sales and keep customers connected to the brand. The conference will be held August 17, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa in Huntington Beach, Calif.

Speakers will include companies demonstrating best practices in eMarketing. The keynote address will be delivered by Josh Linkner, founder and CEO of ePrize, who will lead a presentation rich in case study examples titled "Acquiring and Nurturing Permission-based Relationships via Interactive Promotions." Jason Palmer, vice president of marketing at WebTrends, will speak on "Thriving in the Changing World of Marketing." Additional sessions will focus on best practices for world-class email marketing. E-marketing case studies will be presented by Wild Oats Natural Marketplace and Motorcycle-Superstore.com.

The ExactTarget Regional User Conference is open to anyone with management responsibility in marketing and sales and to professionals at interactive marketing agencies.

Southern California is the second of four Regional User Conferences sponsored by ExactTarget this summer. WebTrends is a participating sponsor of all events.
