Iteris Names Chad VanderCook Northeast Regional Sales Manager to Focus on Lane Departure Warning Technology; VanderCook to Focus on Development of Northeastern Sales Channel to Expand Company's Share of the Heavy Truck Market

ANAHEIM, Calif.--Aug. 3, 2006--Iteris Inc. (AMEX:ITI), a leader in vision-based technologies and Intelligent Transportation Systems that optimize traffic flow and enhance driver safety, today announced the appointment of Chad VanderCook as its new Northeast Regional Sales Manager. VanderCook will be responsible for sales and business development of Iteris' Lane Departure Warning (LDW) System in the commercial truck market.

VanderCook joins Iteris after spending nine years at BorgWarner in the Emission/Thermal Systems Division. He spent six years as a Regional Sales Manager responsible for the Midwest region selling to commercial fleets, dealers and OEMs and three years working in the engineering department. Prior to that, he worked with Four Winns Boat Group. VanderCook began his career as a Light Infantry Team Leader in the United States Army.
