The 'Swiss Army Knife' of Utility Vehicles -- Club Car Debuts All-New 4x4 Carryall 295 IntelliTach
AUGUSTA, Ga., Aug. 2, 2006 -- Offering the ultimate in versatility and durability, Club Car has created the Carryall 295 with IntelliTach, a heavy-duty utility vehicle featuring a fully automatic, hydraulic-powered attachment system -- a breakthrough in the UV market.
The new IntelliTach system redefines multitasking by enabling the Carryall 295 to tackle the work once performed by multiple vehicles. It offers superior strength and maximum durability to handle any job in virtually any setting. It's the ideal vehicle for facility maintenance, and is especially well suited for the needs of facility and maintenance managers in the education, government, hospitality and real estate sectors.
Attachments Made Easy
The IntelliTach system is mounted to the frame of the Carryall 295 and has arms that extend forward beyond the front cowl. Attached to the arms is a mounting plate that can connect to one of five attachments: a bucket, a pallet fork, a push broom, a blade and a mower with a 60-inch deck. The bucket is standard equipment; all other attachments are optional. The IntelliTach mounting plate interfaces with the corresponding plate on each attachment, with a quick-release handle to lock and unlock the attachment. Each attachment, when in use, is controlled by an easy-to-use joystick located next to the driver's seat.
When attachments are not being used, the mounting plate can be removed by pulling four clevis pins, and the mounting arms can then be folded back into the grill of the vehicle.
"This single vehicle, with its high level of functionality, can perform the work of six. That's why we like to call it 'the Swiss Army Knife' of vehicles. It's a breakthrough for our industry," said Mike Read, director of marketing communications for Club Car. "Beyond that, the IntelliTach system is incredibly easy to use. One person can connect or disconnect any of the attachments, and can also detach the mounting plate from the vehicle itself. There's no heavy lifting involved in the process. It's very simple and quick."
Exciting Features, Superior Performance
The Carryall 295 with IntelliTach features a rugged, automotive-inspired look that complements the vehicle's powerful engine, heavy-duty construction and spacious seating. In addition, the Carryall 295 with IntelliTach features the exclusive IntelliTrak technology, the industry's only fully automatic, true all-wheel-drive system. By continually sensing driving conditions, IntelliTrak automatically engages and disengages all-wheel-drive without requiring the driver to stop, shift gears, push buttons or lock differentials.
Designed for strength and long life, the diesel-powered Carryall 295 with IntelliTach features a rust-proof, aircraft-grade aluminum frame and has a total payload capacity of more than 3/4 ton. What's more, the fully independent front suspension, automotive-style four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and optional all-terrain tires contribute to its overall durability.
"At Club Car, we pride ourselves on the reliability, long-life and functionality of our utility vehicles," Read said. "We believe that our vehicles will consistently outperform and outlast the competition. All of our efforts focus on making the very best vehicles for our customers to help their operations run more efficiently and cost-effectively."
The MSRP on the Carryall 295 with IntelliTach is $14,020. The bucket attachment is standard equipment; additional attachments are priced separately. For more information on the Carryall 295 with IntelliTach or to find a local dealer, visit http://www.clubcar.com/ .
