Disabled Veteran Business Earns Government Certification

TROY, Mich., Aug. 2, 2006 -- David Easterbrook, President of AME Vertical, announced today that his company has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) contract. "This contract confirms our ability to provide our products and services to the standards required by the Federal Government. Having a GSA contract means we are a pre-approved vendor to the Government. We are the first veteran owned business in our industry from the Midwest to receive this certification."

The Federal Government has a program in place to award 3% of purchases to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB). "We are proud of receiving this certification and of joining our fellow Veteran Owned Businesses in pursuing opportunities with the Federal Government," David added. David retired from the US Navy after being injured in the line of duty while serving on the USS Oklahoma City (CLG-4).
