JANCA LEADS CALIFORNIA FOCUS DIRT MIDGETS TO VENTURA; SKOGLUND WINS AT TRACY

INDIANAPOLIS – Keith Janca leads a tight point battle in the USAC California
Ford Focus Dirt Midget Car Series as the series heads to Saturday’s race at
Ventura Raceway in California.

Janca holds a three-point advantage over Bobby Michnowicz with four races to
go, all but one still scheduled at the 1/5-mile track. The series will take
nearly a six-week hiatus before its next competition at Bakersfield. Ventura
will hold its next Focus race Sept. 30.

Tim Skoglund landed his second straight USAC California Ford Focus Pavement
Midget Car Series victory Saturday at Altamont Motorsports Park in Tracy,
Calif., leading the final 23 laps after passing Jace Meier.

Fast qualifier Michael Faccinto was second, besting Meier, Ian Miille and
Levi Roberts.
