  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SOUTH CENTRAL BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION TRADES COUNCIL NIGHT

SPRINT CARS, O'NEAL WOOD PRODUCTS MODIFIEDS, AND TIRE & WHEEL CENTER SUPER STOCKS

  AUGUST 4, 2006

  AT BLOOMINGTON SPEEDWAY

BLOOMINGTON, IN (July 30, 2006) - Bloomington Speedway will host another night of exciting racing action on Friday, August 4. The evening's racing will feature sprint cars, O'Neal Wood Products modifieds, and Tire & Wheel Center super stocks.

Joining us on August 4 will be members of the South Central Building & Construction Trades Council. These guys work hard for their money; and they expect value for it. They know that they get that value at Bloomington Speedway.

There should also be plenty of sprint cars, O'Neal Wood Products modifieds, Tire & Wheel Stock super stocks. This will give the fans more of what they come to Bloomington Speedway to see - GREAT RACING.

There will be only four more sprint car points races after the August 4 race. Kevin Briscoe holds a slim 10 point margin over Kent Christian. That makes this one of the tightest sprint car points races that we've had in some time. Because of the participation of many of our sponsors, each position in the points races is worth more money. Those at the top of the points standing will be doing everything possible improve their position or, at the very least, hold onto the one they have.

In the O'Neal Wood Products modified division only 30 points separate the top six drivers (Kent Robinson, Ray Humphrey, John DeMoss, Matt Boknecht, Jeff Bland, Jr. and Ryan Thomas). Any of them are capable of making a charge to win the championship. And, of course, all of the competitors have the opportunity to improve their positions in the points races and their year end points awards..

In the Tire & Wheel Center super stock division Jeremy Hines holds a 52 point lead over Kevin Arthur. However, only 41 points separate the top ten competitors. The points are so tight that there is a three way tie for sixth place among Greg Amick, Winston Howe, and Troy Clark. On August 4, these guys along with all of the other Tire & Wheel Center super stock racers are expected to be on hand to pick up the points along with the extra prize money.

Because performance at Bloomington Speedway such a good measure of a racer's performance, a Bloomington Speedway championship is one of the most coveted in the area. Don't miss the next battles in the wars for Bloomington Speedway championships.

Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM, the grandstand gates will open at 5:30 PM, hot laps will start at 6:30 PM, and racing will begin at 7:30 PM. General admission is $10 for this event (children six and under are admitted free to the grandstand when accompanied by a paying adult and children 12 and under are admitted for only $5 when accompanied by a paying adult ); and pit admission is $20. Coolers are permitted; but glass containers aren't. Overnight camping is also permitted.

  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

  F.C. TUCKER NIGHT

  SPRINT CARS

  O'NEAL WOOD PRODUCTS MODIFIEDS

TIRE & WHEEL CENTER SUPER STOCKS

  AUGUST 11, 2006

  AT BLOOMINGTON SPEEDWAY

BLOOMINGTON, IN (July 30, 2006) - The great folks at F.C. Tucker will be joining us at Bloomington Speedway on August 11. Like you, they will be on hand to enjoy the great racing on the red clay. However, one of them can probably be persuaded to help you with recommendations on finding a great place to live. However, when the racing gets started, you'll have to combine your house hunting to yellow flags.

On August 11 we'll be presenting our signature program - Sprint Cars, O'Neal Wood Products Modifieds, and Tire & Wheel Center Super Stocks. Mike Miles has commented that he runs these three classes about every Friday night; because he knows of no class that would improve his program. This is partly because Bloomington Speedway has a solid group of top competitors in each division. Traveling drivers will sometimes show up to take a stab Mike Miles' red clay; and sometimes they will win. However, when they do, they've earned it. We're always glad to see them; because, most of the time, they've helped us provide an even better show to our fans.

Our competitors are running out of time to improve positions in our points standings. Kevin Briscoe (sprints), Kent Robinson (modifieds), and Jeremy Hines (super stocks) are leading the points for their divisions now. However, none of them have enough of a lead to be comfortable much less have a lock of the championship.

We expect the pits to be filled to overflowing with sprint cars, O'Neal Wood Products modifieds, and Tire & Wheel Center super stocks. This will give the fans more of what they come to Bloomington Speedway to see - GREAT RACING.
