BROOKLYN, Mich. (July 29, 2006) - Marco Andretti and the #26 NYSE car recorded a speed of 209.886 miles per hour (34.3043 seconds) around Michigan International Speedway and will start from 19th position for Sunday's running of the Firestone Indy 400. The 11th event of the 2006 IndyCar Series season is set to go green at 3:45 p.m. (EDT) Sunday, with ABC Sports providing live broadcast coverage of the 200-lap event beginning at 3:30 p.m. (EDT). The race may also be heard on XM Satellite Radio on XM channel 145.
Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone:
"I didn't think I would be up front but I didn't expect a 209 either. The NYSE car is just too neutral in our setup. We're trying to set the car up similar to my teammates but somehow there is something very different."
