WSIB Insurance Names New President and Executive Vice President

INDIANAPOLIS, July 27 -- Insurance broker WSIB Insurance Agency LLC has announced that Laura Hauenstein will serve as President and H. Don DeWitt will serve as Executive Vice President of its WSIB Motorsports division. WSIB Motorsports offers specially designed motorsports coverage for professional and semi-professional race teams and race tracks. WSIB has offices in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Indiana; Jackson, Michigan; and Surprise, Arizona.

Prior to her appointment as division president, Laura Hauenstein, CIC, worked for WSIB serving as its executive vice president since 2003. With over 17 years of insurance industry experience focusing on sales, marketing, and underwriting, she is well known within the professional motorsports community.

She holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Toledo.

WSIB's new executive vice president H. Don DeWitt, CIC, has over twenty years of experience in insurance underwriting, sales, and marketing including formerly serving as the Program Leader for the K&K Motorsports Division, owned by Aon Corporation. A former professional baseball player for New York Yankees from 1981 to 1983, he holds a B.S. Degree in General Business Administration from Ball State University.
