United Components to Release Second Quarter 2006 Earnings on August 15, 2006; Earnings Call to be Held on August 16

EVANSVILLE, Ind.--July 27, 2006--United Components, Inc. will report financial results for the second quarter of 2006 on Tuesday August 15, 2006. Following the earnings release, the Company will conduct its quarterly conference call for investors and other interested parties on Wednesday August 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
