Guy Cosmo Heads To Barber Motorsport Park

Guy Cosmo will team again with NASCAR Champion, Bobby Labonte as the
formidable duo take on the challenging Barber Motorsports Park for
this weekend's Grand American Rolex Series Porsche 250.

Driving for Spirit of Daytona in the #09 MarineMax Pontiac Crawford
Daytona Prototype, Guy expressed confidence in the growing
relationship with his co-driver, Labonte and in the commitment
demonstrated by the Spirit of
Daytona team.

"I can't say enough about this team," expressed Cosmo. "Since our run
at the Brumos Porsche 250 last month in Daytona, the team has done a
thorough rebuild of the car. They've literally gone bumper to bumper
and solicited
feedback every step of the way. I think Bobby and I can climb behind
the wheel this weekend with confidence and know the team has given us
100% effort. We should definitely see the #09 car running with the
lead pack."

"I'm also really enjoying the chance to work with Bobby," Cosmo
continued. "He really wants to do well at this and continually
digging for information and sharing ideas. It's really encouraging to
drive with someone who knows
how to win. The car and the type of racing doesn't distract him... he
is extremely methodical and a true professional. This is a great
experience for me."

Cosmo had a chance to shake down the 09 MarineMax Prototype a few
weeks ago at Barber and was happy with its showing.

"We have made great progress on the team's consistency and structure.
Our test at Barber helped to get a handle on the car and we should
have a great performance Sunday afternoon. I am thrilled to have
MarineMax back on
board for this event. MarineMax is a very loyal and enthusiastic
sponsor and it is great to work with them."

Barber is a challenging 2.3mile course. Its elevation changes and
technical turns suits Cosmo's smooth style perfectly.

"This is my kind of track," noted Cosmo. "It's definitely a drivers
track and a track that pays dividends if you drive it smart and stay
smooth. It's a track I view myself as having an advantage. Bobby has
driven here before too. We won the SunTrust Improve Your Position
Award by overtaking 11 competitors during the night race at Daytona,
so we're both convinced we can maintain that momentum here."
