Bryan Herta on the Firestone Indy 400:
"It seems like such a long time ago that the XM Satellite Radio team was in victory lane at Michigan.
Obviously we have our setup data from last year and we had a great car there, so we're looking forward to
the race. However, everything has changed and it's going to be a whole new ballgame for everyone.
Andretti Green Racing had a very good race in Milwaukee and we got a win for Tony (Kanaan), but there are
still three guys on this team who want to win this year and we're going to Michigan in search of our first win."
Bryan Herta Facts
Herta is the defending champion and pole sitter of the Firestone Indy 400. Herta's 2005 victory at the
2-mile oval was his second career IndyCar Series win and the fourth of his open-wheel career.
It was also the first win for the XM Satellite Radio team in IndyCar Series competition.
Herta led 159 of 200 laps at Michigan in 2005, the most laps led by any driver in one race during 2005.
He is currently 10th in the IndyCar Series championship, only 16 points out of the seventh position.
Herta collected a seventh-place finish at the most recent IndyCar Series race in Milwaukee.
Herta tallied a fourth-place result at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, his best 2006 finish.
His two IndyCar Series victories are part of the 22 wins Andretti Green Racing has accumulated in just
four seasons of competition. The 22 wins are the most by any team in IndyCar Series history.
Herta is one of only 22 drivers to win two or more races in IndyCar Series history.
Herta was the only driver in 2005 to claim pole positions on a road course (St. Petersburg), a short
oval (Phoenix) and a superspeedway (Michigan).
His first IndyCar Series win came at Kansas Speedway in 2003 in only his third start for AGR.
Herta has four career major open-wheel racing wins and 10 poles.

Martin Paré, Race Engineer,
#7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone on the Firestone Indy 400:
"Unfortunately there is not a lot we can take from the XM Satellite Radio car that won last year at
Michigan. We haven't had the success that we had last year on superspeedways but we're still looking for
and working toward ways to get some more speed. The test that Tony (Kanaan) completed at MIS last week
helped all of our cars and gave us some idea of how things will go this year."
