EVS Completed Installation of Its Prepress System at One of World's Top Prepress Manufacturers

YOKNEAM, Israel--July 26, 2006--Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. (OTCBB: EVSNF) a leading provider of automatic on-line inspection and quality monitoring systems today announced that it has completed the Installation and Acceptance Test Procedure of its Prepress System as part of an existing agreement with one of the world's largest prepress systems manufacturers.

As previously announced, EVS signed an OEM agreement with one of the world's largest prepress manufacturers totaling $850,000 for the development and supply of 10 inspection systems. As of today EVS has delivered three of the ordered systems to the customer.

Following the announcement Mr. David Gal, EVS' Chairman, said: "We are very pleased with the completion of the installation and Acceptance of our inspection system. This successful installation is part of our strategy to provide Automatic Optical Inspection to the printers market.
