QUALIFYING:
#1: 6.690 seconds at 206.80 mph

ELIMINATIONS:

Line retains point lead heading to Sonoma

KENT, Wash. (July 23, 2006) - Running what was the quickest pass of the
opening round, Jason Line, driver of the KB Racing LLC, Summit Racing
Equipment Pontiac GTO, left the starting line too soon ending his day at
this weekend's 19th annual NHRA Schuck's Auto Supply Nationals at
Pacific Raceways, in Kent, Wash.

Paired against Max Naylor, Line left 15 thousandths of a second too
soon, negating a pass of 6.741 seconds. Ironically, it took Naylor
16.115 seconds to reach the finish line for the win.

"Any driver out here hates to red light and I'm no exception," said
Line, who qualified No. 1. "But there are a couple positives about this
weekend that stand out today. One: both Greg's (Anderson) and my Summit
Pontiac GTOs ran well the entire weekend. Two: we left here with the
point lead and Greg is second. That's awesome. We're both generating
good power. I had low elapsed time of the opening round and Greg was
second quickest. I can't wait to get to the next race."

Line leaves Seattle with the NHRA POWERade point lead. Of the top ten
drivers in the point standings entering this event, only two made it to
the second round. Line continues to lead the POWERade Pro Stock point
standings and leaves Seattle with 935 points. His teammate Anderson is
second with 910 points, 25 behind the leader. Dave Connolly continues
to hold third with 879 points, 56 behind Line and 31 behind Anderson.

Line and his KB Racing LLC-owned, Summit Racing Equipment Pontiac GTO
team now head for the Napa Valley wine country when the third and final
race of the Western Swing - three back-to-back-to-back races in Denver,
Seattle, and Sonoma - hit the Infineon Raceway quarter-mile track in
Sonoma, Calif., for the 19th annual NHRA FRAM Autolite Nationals, next
weekend (July 28-30).

ESPN2 will air same-day television coverage of eliminations for the 19th
annual NHRA Schuck's Auto Supply Nationals from 8 until 11 p.m. (Sunday,
July 23). The elimination show repeats early Monday morning (July 24)
from 2:30-4:30 a.m. Television times are Eastern Time (ET) and subject
to change at anytime. Check local listings.
