Darren Law and Johannes van Overbeek were behind the wheel of the team's Porsches in today's qualifying session, running in scorching, record-breaking heat that brought the track temperature to more than 130 degrees. "It's unfortunate that we weren't able to qualify higher in today's session, but we were just not in a position to make a good run at it," said crew chief Tommy Sadler. "Instead, we used the session to continue to work on race setup for both cars. We've definitely struggled over the last few days in terms of setup. We're still not yet where we need to be but I'm confident we'll get there by tomorrow." The Lizards are currently first in the ALMS GT2 team and drivers championship points (with Johannes van Overbeek in the team's No. 45 Porsche), having finished on the podium at every race so far this season. The driver line up for Portland will be van Overbeek and Wolf Henzler in the No. 45 Porsche and Darren Law and Seth Neiman in the No. 44 Porsche. From the Pits The Portland Grand Prix starts at 6 pm. Pacific Time on Saturday July 22. The race will be broadcast on CBS on Sunday, July 23 starting at 3 pm Eastern Time.
