ALERT: John Force-Ashley Force Added to NHRA Luncheon

MEDIA: 13-time Funny Car world champion John Force and daughter Ashley
Force have just been added to the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals Press
Luncheon on Wednesday, July 26. An updated invitation is below.

 

John and Ashley star in the reality series "Driving Force," which
debuted on July 17 on A&E and was the third-highest rated debut show in
the history of the A&E network. The show airs on Monday nights (check
your local listings for times).

 

John Force, Ashley Force Added to 

NHRA Press Luncheon

 

You are invited to the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals, presented by
Supercuts, press conference/ luncheon on Wednesday, July 26, at Fior
d'Italia Restaurant in San Francisco's North Beach.  The event is hosted
by Infineon Raceway.

 

WHO:         

--John Force (Castrol GTX Ford Mustang): 13-time NHRA Funny Car champion
and world record holder

for elapsed time (4.665 seconds) and speed (333.58 mph). Force is a
six-time winner in Sonoma and will 

be inducted into the raceway's Wall of Fame during the race weekend.

 

--Ashley Force (Castrol-Auto Club dragster): Has claimed two Top Alcohol
Dragster event victories so far 

this season (Gainesville, Fla. and Atlanta, Ga.), daughter of John
Force.   

 

--Gary Scelzi (Mopar/Oakley Dodge Charger): 2005 NHRA Funny Car
Champion; one of two drivers in 

NHRA history to win championships in both Funny Car and Top Fuel.
Defending Funny Car champion in Sonoma.

 

--Cory McClenathan (Carrier Boyz Racing/FRAM Boost2 dragster): 14-time
POWERade Top-10 points 

finisher; 29 career Top Fuel wins.

 

--Hillary Will (KB Racing dragster): Earned first national event victory
at Las Vegas in 2005 in Top 

Alcohol dragster; currently a rookie in Top Fuel dragster category.
Native of Fortuna in Humboldt County.

 

--Dave Grubnic (StriVectin-SD dragster): Earned first career victory at
Topeka in 2005; became first 

non-American born driver to win a Top Fuel event. Native of Australia.
