ICOP EXPANDS SALES LEADERSHIP TEAM
Kevin McDugle Appointed as Director of New Military Sales Division and
Police Veteran John Stransky Assumes Post as Director of National
Sales
LENEXA, KS - (PR NEWSWIRE) - July 20, 2006 - ICOP Digital, Inc.
, a leading provider of digital in-car
video systems for law enforcement, today announced the expansion of its
national sales leadership team with the appointment of John Stransky as
Director of National Sales, replacing Kevin McDugle, who has been
promoted to lead the Company's new military sales division as Director
of Military Sales.
"ICOP has achieved extraordinary success in its early efforts to
penetrate the law enforcement market with customers in 43 states, to
date. This success is due largely to the sales and marketing leadership
of Kevin McDugle. In his new capacity as Director of our newly formed
Military Sales division, we have great confidence that he will prove
highly effective in helping ICOP to accelerate its plan to win preferred
solutions provider status within the Military and homeland security
sectors," stated Dave Owen, Chief Executive Officer of ICOP. "Kevin's
technical background in software and hardware, coupled with his
decorated Military experience, gives him an invaluable insight into the
importance of providing leading edge technology solutions which mitigate
the dangers our troops face in their service to our Country in Iraq and
other hot zones. In this regard, ICOP is committed to helping meet this
challenge through the delivery of our mobile surveillance solutions."
Prior to joining ICOP, McDugle managed leading sales teams marketing
technology products to Fortune 500 companies for over a decade. For
eight years, he served in the United States Marine Corps working
primarily with Anti-terrorist Special Forces teams based at Bangor,
Washington Naval Submarine Base. Earning Combat Action ribbons for
campaigns in Saudi Arabia, Bosnia and Somalia, McDugle also served as an
Airborne Forward Observer, Liaison to foreign military officers and
advisors and the 75th Ranger Battalion, and was a Marine Drill
Instructor at Parris Island, South Carolina. He is a Sworn Officer with
the Ottawa Kansas Police Department, where he currently serves as a
Reserve Officer. McDugle is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University
where he earned a BS degree in Business, and holds a Masters degree in
Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
"John's law enforcement leadership experience, combined with over a
decade of solutions-based selling experience to local governments -
including his success in developing two major territories as a Regional
Sales Manager at ICOP, makes him the ideal choice to lead ICOP's
national sales force into the future," added Owen.
With more than 11 years experience as a commissioned police officer and
police dispatcher in St Louis, Stransky has a unique understanding of
the needs of today's law enforcement industry. While serving with the
St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Stransky was assigned to the
Chief's Office as a detective in the Intelligence division, tasked with
liaising with the Secret Service during Presidential and Diplomatic
Dignitaries visits to St. Louis. He spent three years as a Uniform
Patrol Officer in the Fifth District and three years as a distinguished
member of the elite "Mobile Reserve" squad. Stransky also played an
integral role in working with community leaders to implement key COPS
(Community Oriented Policing Services) programs sponsored by the U.S.
Department of Justice. He is also noted for initiating a Joint Task
Force to combat gang activity in the metro area.
