POINT RACES SPICE MADERA MIDGET "SHOWDOWN"

 

 

            Tight point races in both the USAC Western and Bay Cities Racing Association Midget series will continue this Saturday when the two series combine to compete at the Madera (Calif.) Speedway.

 

            Defending USAC Champion Jerome Rodela leads Tyler Brown by just three points in the 2006 standings, while defending BCRA titlist John Sarale leads Travis Berryhill by a single point!

 

            Saturday's race is the first for USAC Midgets at the 1/3-mile paved Madera oval since Michael Lewis won there in September, 2004.
