ENDERS EXITS FIRST ROUND IN DENVER DSR DEBUT

MORRISON, Colo. (July 16, 2006) - Erica Enders debuted with Don
Schumacher Racing this weekend at the Mopar Mile-High Nationals, racing
the Team Schumacher Dodge Stratus R/T for the first time in an NHRA
POWERade Drag Racing Series Pro Stock event.

She matched up against Ron Krisher in the first round of today's Pro Stock
eliminations at Bandimere Speedway, but her 7.227-second pass at 191.67 mph
was not enough to overcome Krisher's winning 7.175/192.85.

"It wasn't as good of a run as we had planned on making as far as ET
goes, but that stuff happens," said the Houston native. "Krisher went .042
(reaction time, Enders' was .070 - .000 is perfect) and was beatable, but we
left the door open and he walked through it.

"Considering what has gone on in the past week and a half, just to get
everything together to get to this point, to qualify the car and to race on
Sunday is really a feat in itself. I'm really proud of the DSR Pro Stock
guys, and I'm happy that we could put the car in the show.

"It was hot out (near 100-degree temperature, and 140-plus track
temperature). It wasn't a straight run and I didn't have the best
light, but we get to go to Seattle next weekend."

Enders heads to Pacific Raceways outside of Seattle, Wash., next weekend for
the Schuck's NHRA Nationals, July 21-23.
