Midtronics, Inc. Names Russ Smyth to its Board of Directors

WILLOWBROOK, Ill.--July 13, 2006--Midtronics, Inc. has announced the addition of Russ Smyth to the company's Board of Directors. Smyth, 49, retired in 2005 from McDonald's Corporation after 21 years of service. Most recently, he served as President of McDonalds Europe and was directly responsible for the company's 6,200 local restaurants in 51 countries with 250,000 employees and $6.7 billion in total revenues. Prior to that, Russ was President of McDonald's Partner Brands, including Chipotle Mexican Grill and Boston Market.

Smyth, who played a significant role in the phenomenal growth in market share and profits for McDonald's global business, has a Master's degree in Accountancy from NIU. In addition, he has served as an advisory director to McDonald's Corporation board and currently serves on the board of Lewis University.
