Chinese Car Maker Chery Reveals QQ6

Bejing July 12, 2006; Chinese car manufacturer Chery revealed the first official details on its new QQ6 mini-sedan.

Developed under the code name S21, the new model will be put on the Chinese market in early August, priced between RMB 42,000-52,000.

At the market launch there will be two versions available: the QQ611 with a 1.1-liter and the QQ613 with a 1.3-liter engine.

Key dimensions: wheelbase: 2340 mm; length: 3998 mm, width: 1640 mm, height: 1535 mm

Parallel to the market launch of the QQ6, the old QQ hatchback will be renamed to QQ3.
