MTI Micro to Present at Energy Tech Investor Conference

ALBANY, N.Y., July 13 -- Peng Lim, President and Chief Executive Officer of MTI MicroFuel Cells Inc. (MTI Micro), the developer of the award-winning Mobion(R) micro fuel cell technology and a subsidiary of Mechanical Technology Incorporated , is scheduled to participate in the Third Annual Energy Tech Investor Conference on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 10:45 a.m. (PDT) at the JW Marriot Hotel in San Francisco.

This two-day event sponsored by the Strategic Research Institute will take place July 18-19, 2006 and will bring together experts from the energy technology community to share their perspectives on investment opportunities, challenges and critical issues facing the industry today.

Mr. Lim will participate in a panel discussion titled Fuel Cells - Finding the Early Markets and will discuss the state of the fuel cell markets, including fuel cell opportunities and challenges.
