Mercedes-Benz Dealer Group in the Netherlands Selects Reynolds and Reynolds incadea(R) Solution
Aucon B.V. to lead the implementation
CHAVANNES-DE-BOGIS, Switzerland, July 11 -- The Reynolds and Reynolds Company announced that five Mercedes-Benz subsidiaries with 21 locations across the Netherlands have selected the Reynolds incadea(R) dealer management system (DMS). Aucon B.V. will install the solution, which will be used by approximately 300 users.
Before selecting the incadea system, the Mercedes-Benz subsidiaries evaluated other solutions available on the market. The Mercedes-Benz subsidiaries chose the incadea solution because of its state-of-the-art business processes, its integration capabilities and CRM functionalities. They were impressed with the solution's global foundation and with the local expertise of Aucon B.V.
Aucon B.V., a leading system integrator in the automotive industry, is Reynolds' roll-out partner. Aucon has led other successful implementations of the Reynolds incadea system, including their work with Opel in the Netherlands.
Working alongside Aucon, Reynolds customized the incadea software to meet the interface requirements of DaimlerChrysler. incadea is built on Microsoft Windows(R) and Microsoft(R) Dynamics(TM) NAV, one of the Microsoft's enterprise resource planning solutions.
Casper Veltkamp, corporate marketing manager for Aucon, said, "The project with the five Mercedes-Benz subsidiaries is a result of a close collaboration between Reynolds and Reynolds International and Aucon. Reynolds has developed the make layer and Aucon has customized it for the Dutch market. The advantage of the Reynolds and Aucon partnership is two-fold for the dealers: they can be assured that Reynolds will keep abreast of and will follow the DaimlerChrysler interface requirements and that Aucon will provide first-class service and support locally."
Currently, a pilot is underway and the official implementation of the incadea system will begin in the fall.
Bob Sawyer, general manager and vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Reynolds International, said, "We are excited to be working with Aucon to provide these Mercedes-Benz subsidiaries with a powerful solution that can help them improve their dealership operations and factory communications. The incadea system will enable Mercedes-Benz to do real-time business reporting and have a seamless interface and data exchange with DaimlerChrysler. With incadea, they will be able to easily access information on their customers and vehicles and increase their business efficiency and profitability."
