Dresser Wayne's New Ultra High Capacity Dispensers Dramatically Reduce Fleet Refueling Time
AUSTIN, Texas--July 10, 2006--New Ultra High Capacity (UHC) models are now available for Dresser Wayne's Century(TM) line of retail fuel dispensers, enabling large commercial vehicles to spend less time at the pump and more time on the road. The Dresser Wayne Century UHC models provide an economical solution for retail sites that want high flow performance without the need for in-dispenser card readers. With a maximum flow rate of 60 GPM (gallons per minute), Dresser Wayne's rugged new Century UHC dispensers are available in a wide variety of models, including singles, single-product dual, two-product dual, single and dual satellites, and a master/satellite combination unit. A new two-hose, single-sided version allows two grades or types of fuel to be offered at one fueling point. A matching satellite with two hoses on the same side is also available.
"With the increasing need to offer multiple grades of diesel, such as Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel and Low Sulfur Diesel, we added a new UHC model with two hoses on the same side," said Kent Robinson, director of marketing for Dresser Wayne's Fleet Fueling Group. "Now one fueling point can conveniently offer two different grades of diesel."
Unique dual internal 40 GPM filters (80 GPM capacity) help maintain optimal flow performance while ensuring fuel purity -- a particular concern for vehicles with new high pressure diesel engines. The durable dispensers also utilize two field-proven components, a Liquid Controls(R) M-5 high flow meter and Dresser Wayne's iGEM electronics platform, to help maximize efficiency, security and uptime.
"The dual high capacity internal filters are a unique feature to the Dresser Wayne Century UHC Series," said Robinson. "By placing the filters prior to the meter, the meter is protected from contaminants and the satellite line is also filtered, eliminating the need for a separate filter at the satellite. Dual filters per side provide plenty of capacity to handle both master and satellite hoses working simultaneously, and the filters are conveniently located in one place over the containment area."
Also standard in the models: an electronic calibration feature, electromechanical totalizer, display back-up, lighted brand panel and hinged doors for easy access.
