COOK ON HIS 2002 RUNNER-UP FINISH:

"We had an extremely fast race truck that weekend; we qualified eighth. I
remember running up near the front almost the entire race. Late in the race
we got beat out of the pits by Travis Kvapil and ultimately ended up running
second and just didn't have enough to get by him. I could've laid a bumper
to him and definitely moved him out of the way to win the race but I don't
race like that and I think he respected me for the fact that I didn't. It
was one of those days that the fastest truck definitely didn't win the race
and at the same time while I was trying to pass Travis, I had Ted Musgrave
trying to get by me. All in all it was a good day for the Ford Power Stroke
Diesel by International race team."
