Key Safety Systems and Key Plastics Announce Changes in CEO Position

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., July 10 -- B. Edward Ewing, Chairman and CEO of the Ewing Management Group (EMG) announced today changes in the Chief Executive Officer positions at Key Safety Systems and Key Plastics, which are EMG-managed companies. Effective July 1, 2006, the position of Chief Executive Officer of Key Safety Systems and Key Plastics has been assumed by Douglas G. Nyhoff of Ewing Management Group.

In keeping with his practice of transitioning the management of businesses EMG manages to the company's management team, former CEO and principal shareholder, B. Edward Ewing will step back from the day to day oversight of both companies as CEO and will focus on other EMG interests. Mr. Ewing will remain as Chairman of Key Safety Systems' and Key Plastics' Board of Directors.

Mr. Nyhoff previously served as President of Key Safety Systems during 2004-2005, President of Key Safety Systems North America during 2003-2004 and President of Key Plastics Europe during 2001-2002.
